Adsorption process:Granular Activated Carbon Purification and Recovery Equipment waste gas passes through an air filter to remove tiny suspended particles before entering the tank. The gas is then filtered through the activated carbon particles packed in the tank and emptied by the rear fan (if the gas concentration is high,a multi-stage adsorption device can be used to ensure that the gas meets emission standards).
Desorption process:When activated carbon is saturated after a certain period of use,it needs to be regenerated.The desorption and regeneration process uses a heating and analysis method. High-temperature steam at 0.5 Mpa is injected from the bottom of the tower into the tank to detach organic substances from the activated carbon. The detached gas passes through a matching condenser to cool down and enter the separation tank.The organic solvents are recovered during separation, while the remaining solution is aerated and discharged (if high-precision solvents need to be recovered, a distillation device can be added to the separation tank).
Granular Activated Carbon Purification and Recovery Equipment mainly consists of adsorption tanks, shut-off valves, filters, condensers, aerating tanks, steam pipelines, water supply and drainage pipelines, fans, and supporting pipelines. Low-pressure steam is used as the desorption medium. When necessary, a steam filter can be equipped to increase the steam temperature for the analysis of solvents with higher boiling points. The equipment has multiple safety measures, such as fan overload protection, carbon layer overheating protection, fire interlocking, and check valves.
